Volunteers with visitors at The Gordon House

Host visitors year round for guided tours of The Gordon House, the only building in Oregon designed by iconic American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright and the only Wright building open to the public in the Pacific Northwest.

In keeping with our mission of education, we need volunteers to give guided tours of the interior on a regular basis. You will be given training on the content of the tour, although it is not scripted and you will develop your own style. No special skills are required, just a desire to share the house with the public. Tours provide income for the house so tour guides are vital to the House's preservation. You can set up a schedule that suits you.

The Gordon House has diverse and ongoing needs for volunteers interested in guiding tours, gardening, office work, collections maintenance, special events, and more. The work of our staff and volunteers support our mission of education and our fundraising needs. Contact us or visit our website for more information.
