PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: To assist Agapao, Inc to obtaining funding through grants in order to fulfil the mission of the organization POSITION SUMMARY: The Grant Writer is responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to foundations and other grant-making organizations and maintaining a tracking system that records grant submissions, deadlines and other information vital to this function. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This position will research, write, and prepare grant proposals This candidate should be willing to use their own laptop/computer WORK ENVIRONMENT: The requirements of this position are such to allow the majority of the functions can be accomplished through telecommuting.

QUALIFICATIONS: Grant writing experience Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency and experience with database programs Excellent written communication and organizational skills and strong attention to detail Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated This candidate should expect to use their own laptop/computer

We depend on grassroots/indigenous partnerships with like-minded people to meet; social needs, promote community improvement, eliminate cruelty to children & family violence here and around the world.
