Lifeline is looking for licensed Chiropractors that would like to volunteer 3-5 hours a month to work with clients in our inpatient residential unit. Our clients are working hard to overcome the disease of addiction and often have health/medical needs that would benefit from chiropractic work. Clients are typically in the inpatient program 21-30 days and then move to an outpatient program. The majority(60%) of clients are low income and therefore do not have access to chiropractic services. The schedule is very flexible and can be designed to work around your schedule including nights and weekends. You will be required to pass a background check and particpate in a four hour orientation process that will focus on HIPPA and the strict confidentiality laws of CFR 42, which are laws specifically designed to protect persons involved in drug and alcohol treatement. Addication is a chronic diseas that requires chronic treatment. Our clients work hard every day to learn how to manage this disease and rebuild their lives. Come and be a part of this unique rewarding process and see how lives change and recovery happens every day!
