Now more than ever... Volunteers make a difference! Volunteers are needed at the Information Desks and Surgical Waiting Area at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC). Volunteers must be friendly, have a helpful personality and be dependable. Assignment description includes greeting our visitors and patients, engaging them to assist with navigating the hospital, giving out hospital information upon request, periodically taking around a library (book) cart, and other duties when asked. A free meal is provided daily with at least 4 hour of volunteering.
