The Naomi Project, a program of Britepaths, needs volunteers to mentor at-risk pregnant or newly parenting women in Northern Virginia for a year or longer as appropriate. Mentors answer pregnancy and parenting questions; provide advice, support and counsel; share experiences; help mom find needed resources; and plan for a healthy future with her baby. Mentors give of themselves, by donating their time, kindness, compassion, empathy and skills. Naomi Project periodically holds training sessions for new mentors. Spanish-speaking volunteers are especially needed, but all volunteers are welcome. Please visit https://britepaths.org/our-programs/naomi-project/mentoring for more detailed information, and to retrieve the application form. The next Mentor Training has not yet been scheduled. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 703-860-2633 to let them know you would like to be notified about the next training.
