The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. As this natural disaster unfolds, the staff here at VolunteerMatch is doing its part to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you are prepared and safe. To distribute corporate surplus food and goods to help fight poverty and hunger in Eau Claire and the surrounding area for those with low resources and in crisis. To develop the "Blessing Box" concept to activate people in being alert to the needs of others and to be proactive in encouraging, showing friendship and meeting tangible needs of struggling neighbors, friends and strangers regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.
Normal Distribution is the first Thursday of each month. For January of 2015, we are holding the distribution on Tuesday, December 30 2014.
