Have you had a significant role in managing an Assisted Living/Home Care facility? If you want to give back to your community and help potential entrepreneurs/business owners succeed, consider joining SCORE! In this role, you will help entrepreneurs who want to start or grow an assisted living/home/elderly care facility.

You will volunteer with other business owners/professionals who will share their experience and know how.

Volunteers give approx 10 hrs per month. Hours are flexible. Basic computer skills are required. Monthly meeting is the 1st Thurs 9-10:30 am at FVTC Bordini center.

Requires 10 years of Business experience.You need to respond to client request and set-up mentoring meeting within 48 business hours.

Description

SCORE is dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow and succeed nationwide through volunteer mentors offering free and confidential small business advice. SCORE is a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and has been mentoring small business owners for nearly 60 years. A network of over 255 SCORE offices across the country with 10,000 volunteers offer free, confidential business mentoring and low- or no-cost workshops.

For over half a decade, SCORE's thousands of working and retired business professionals, representing 62 industries, have volunteered their knowledge, expertise and experience to support the success of small business nationwide. More than 4.65 million hours of expertise and advice were donated by SCORE volunteers in 2022! SCORE provides:

  • Free, confidential business mentoring in person, via email or by video
  • Volunteer mentors who share their expertise across industries
  • Free business tools, templates and tips online
  • Inexpensive or free business workshops (locally) and webinars (online 24/7)
SCORE Fox Cities is located in the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin and represents 8 counties in the area: Calumet, Green Lake, Fond du Lac, Marquette, Outagamie, Waupaca, Waushara and Winnebago.
