Have you owned or operated a restaurant/bar and would like to help other entrepreneurs who operate or are starting up a similar business? YOUR KNOWLEDGE IS NEEDED! If you want to give back to your community and help potential restaurant/bar owners succeed, consider joining SCORE!

Requires 10 years of restaurant business experience and location in NE Wisconsin. Volunteer approx. 12 hrs per month. Hours are flexible. Training is provided. Basic computer skills are required.

SCORE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentoring. Our mission is to foster vibrant small business communities through mentoring and education.

Description

SCORE is dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow and succeed nationwide through volunteer mentors offering free and confidential small business advice. SCORE is a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and has been mentoring small business owners for nearly 60 years. A network of over 240 SCORE offices across the country with more than 10,000 volunteers offer free, confidential business mentoring and low- or no-cost workshops.

For over half a decade, SCORE's thousands of working and retired business professionals, representing 62 industries, have volunteered their knowledge, expertise and experience to support the success of small business nationwide. More than 4.65 million hours of expertise and advice were donated by SCORE volunteers in 2022! SCORE provides:

  • Free, confidential business mentoring in person, via email or by video
  • Volunteer mentors who share their expertise across industries
  • Free business tools, templates and tips online
  • Inexpensive or free business workshops (locally) and webinars (online 24/7)
SCORE NE Wisconsin is located in the Fox Valley and Green Bay area of Wisconsin and represents counties in Wisconsin and Michigan: Brown, Calumet, Door, Florence, Fond du Lac, Forest, Green Lake, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Marquette, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Waupaca, Waushara and Winnebago, WI and Menominee Counties in both MI and WI.
