Volunteer Remotely with Open Door Learning Center - Northside!

Partner with an adult immigrant or refugee studying to pass the citizenship (naturalization) test. You'll tutor learners one-on-one or in a small group in U.S. history and civics topics, and help them prepare for the naturalization interview and test. All materials are provided and you will be guided by a staff teacher. Meet new people from your community and work with them to build literacy skills and achieve their goals through distance education.
