Everybody Reads is a reading and book gifting program run entirely by volunteers since early 2001. , The Tzu Chi Foundation has funded the purchase of new books for our program from the beginning. Anonymous donors have funded program operations and the purchase of new books since 2010 to supplement those funded by Tzu Chi. Everybody Reads volunteers read to elementary school students and give each student a new book of their choice at our monthly programs. Everybody Reads is run by Han C. Tran with the invaluable assistance of fellow Everybody Reads volunteers and in close coordination with members of the Tzu Chi Foundation. With the enthusiastic support of the school's administration, the Everybody Reads program at Noble Elementary School in North Hills, CA has been in continuous operation since early 2001.
Come join us, read to elementary school students, and give each one a new book!
Our programs are usually scheduled for the 3th Saturday of every month. A short training orientation will be provided right before the reading session.
