About

The Spanish Circle program provides intermediate- and advanced-level Spanish language learners with opportunities to enhance their conversational skills in a social setting. Bilingual volunteers collaborate to plan and facilitate discussions on a variety of topics. They enable participants to feel comfortable speaking Spanish by creating a fun and supportive learning environment.

Volunteers are scheduled at the Central Library from 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. on Wednesdays. A six-month commitment is requested. Below is the 2018 schedule for the Spanish Circle:

Winter Spanish Circle series
Wednesday, January 24 - March 28, 2018
Volunteer Shift: 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Spring Spanish Circle series
Wednesday, April 18 - June 20, 2018
Volunteer Shift: 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Fall Spanish Circle series
Wednesday, September 12 - November 14, 2018
Volunteer Shift: 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
