Reiki practitioners know the wonderful healing benefits a treatment can bring to those suffering from a painful ailment, prolonged stress or a surgical procedure. Share your gift of deep relaxation and comfort with those who long for relief from isolation and fear that may accompany a terminal illness. By bringing Reiki energy to the bedside of someone facing end of life, you will help create a serene space where a patient may relax deeply in body and mind as they journey peacefully toward spiritual transition. You may also provide care for the family members of the hospice patient. Your contribution can be life changing and immensely satisfying. Reiki hospice volunteers work in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals and private homes. They are warmly welcomed by medical staff, social workers and family members. All Reiki hospice volunteers receive training and continuous support from the hospice team.
