Position Summary:
Bouquet deliveries are the core of Random Acts of Flowers’ mission. After flower donations are picked-up, prepped and arranged, a final group of RAF volunteers meet at prescheduled healthcare facilities and deliver bouquets room-to-room to unsuspecting recipients. RAF delivery volunteers are the face of the organization in the community.
About You:
- Enthusiastic and passionate about RAF mission
- Positive attitude and willingness to take direction and feedback from shift leaders
- Comfortable in healthcare facilities (hospitals, low-income nursing homes, children’s hospitals, mental healthcare, hospices, etc.)
- Flexible and comfortable working in direct service
- Able to push floral carts up ramps and throughout larger healthcare facilities
Application Steps:
- Attend one hour information session about RAF’s history, vision and volunteer opportunities (registration is on our website: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=1116086085)
- Attend 1 hour floral delivery training session
Schedule:
- Tuesdays: 1-3:30pm
- Wednesdays: 1:30-3:30pm
- Thursdays: 1-3:30pm
