HAVOYOCO is a nonprofit organization with a focus on public health education. Our audience, however, includes all minority families in Central Ohio, regardless of their origin. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Recordkeeping Responsible for maintaining office filing and recordkeeping systems; enters, edits, and retrieves data; processes forms such as expenditure claims, independent contract time sheets, deposit forms , purchase requisitions and online supply orders; maintains databases, records, confidential files and other related information for department needs.
Manage and execute ongoing marketing and sales campaigns such as newsletter and other campaigns creating marketing and communication materials, outreach to the community.
Document Preparation Produces letters, memos, spreadsheets, and agendas from straight copy, rough draft, or oral instructions; completes forms, requisitions and other documents; submits print requests; prepares pamphlets, flyers, manuals, and handbooks; proofreads assignments for accuracy and completeness.
Communication/Customer Service Answers and routes telephone calls; conveys information both orally and in writing; answers inquiries from organizations, volunteers, and other clients; acts as office receptionist greeting and directing visitors; schedules( CPR / First Aid Training) and coordinates meetings ; provides materials, and initiates requests for information when required. Staff Support Coordinates and prepares for meetings and special events by assisting with CPR / First aid registrations, payments, and confirmation and reserving rooms; duplicates, sorts and distributes various documents; prepares bulk mailings; maintains departmental calendars; coordinates and confirms conference room reservation schedules; sends, receives and distributes faxes and e-mail; sorts, distributes, and redirects mail; maintains inventory of office supplies and orders as necessary; operates standard office equipment. You will teach CPR / First Aid courses.



Days / Hours of work:


Monday, Tuesday ,Wednesday and Thursday. 9:00 -- 2:00 PM.
Free CPR / Instructor Training ( $400), must stay with the organization at least 6 months.
Job Type: Part-time
Compensation: $11.00 /hour
Required experience:
* Administrative Skills: 1 year
Required license or certification:
* Driver's License
Required education:
* High school or equivalent and/or an associate degree or higher degree are preferred.
