As a Volunteer Barber for Providence Hospice of Seattle, you would provide hair care for patients who have a life-limiting illness. You would only cut and style hair with a blow-dryer; no chemical processing, no curlers. You can choose the days/times you are available, as well as the geographic areas in King county you are willing to travel to. As a Volunteer Barber, you must have a valid Washington state barber/beautician or cosmetologist license. You will be required to attend a short volunteer orientation.
