Do you love farmers markets? Are you interested in the local food movement? Do you want to spend more time getting to know your community and having fun lending a hand? Then join us at the Cambridge Winter Farmers Market!
We need your help Saturdays from January 5th-April 6, 2019. The market is a program of the Cambridge Community Center and is held inside the CCC gymnasium, located just outside of Central Square in Cambridge. There are over two dozen vendors, live music, and fun community events that run alongside the market every week. We are looking for help with set up (8am-10am) and clean up (2pm-4pm) each market day, which involves helping the vendors bring in/out big crates produce and other food products and setting up and breaking down the market space.

The Cambridge Community Center promotes community cooperation and unity and empowers youth, individuals, and families. We do this by offering social, cultural, educational, and recreational activities.
Description
Located in the Riverside neighborhood of Cambridge, between Central Square and Memorial Drive, the Cambridge Community Center has been serving the community for over 84 years.
To children, individuals and families the Center has meant many things. It has been a place to be with friends, to make music, to play basketball, to try arts and crafts, to learn leadership skills and to discuss community issues. The Center has been a place where families count. To this day, the Center has provided services to 3rd, 4th and 5th family generations.
By offering a wide range of social, educational and recreational activities to people of all ages and backgrounds, the Center reaffirms its dedication to community service, which began with its founding as a community meeting house in 1929.
