About

Nursing Students welcome. Volunteers needed to provide way finding support to patients and visitors by directing them and escorting them to appropriate area: urgent or primary care or Emergency Department. Greeters are the first person patients encounter and they rely on the Greeter to help them. Must be mature, have good working relationship skills such as communication skills and ability to take instructions and directions. Must have sound judgment. Must be age 18 and older. The ED is a physically demanding and sometimes stressful environment. Volunteers should understand that they will see serious and intense medical situations while volunteering, even though they won’t be directly involved in patient care. Volunteers need to commit to a once a week shift of 4 hours.
