Want to see positive changes made in St. Louis? Volunteer at Revive Thrift Shop! All profits from Revive help fund programs run by Mission: St. Louis which benefit children living in poverty and provide men in our community with job and leadership training skills. Volunteers are essential to keeping the store’s overhead costs down which means that more kids reach their reading level goals and more men can become leaders in the workforce, their families and their communities. Training will be provided for volunteers, and we are located in a very secure area of the city!

We are looking for positive, committed volunteers to fill roles as volunteer sales associates and sorting assistants. No previous sales experience is required!

Volunteers who do not need volunteer hours for school, social group or any other mandated requirement will receive $2 an hour in store credit for each hour they volunteer! If you are interested in joining the movement to change our city, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Jaci Pringle, at jaci@missionstl.org.

Mission Statement

Mission: St. Louis' mission is to empower people to transform their lives, families and neighborhoods. We are committed to transforming the city of St. Louis by connecting individuals/groups to communities in need through education, empowerment, and economic development.

Description

Education

Mission: St. Louis believes education is the primary imperative in the empowerment and development of both individuals and communities. Through education, we can work along side individuals to inspire and develop indigenous leadership.

Empowerment

Mission: St. Louis seeks to empower people to grow and develop in all aspects of their lives. Empowerment means engaging people as equals, not as dependents of charity. To do this, we enter into dynamic interpersonal relationships based on mutual respect, trust, integrity, grace and compassion. Through empowerment, we are able to work together in achieving personal and community pride based on a regenerated sense of worth.

Development

Mission: St. Louis desires to develop people and communities holistically through economic and spiritual development. Lasting, authentic change only happens from the inside out. This means that we must work to bring about long-term change in both economic and spiritual spheres. We believe this can only come from building trust through authentic relationships.
