Peer Pals accompany small groups of peer-aged children with autism on outings into the community either after school or on Saturdays. You can be a good role-model to kids with autism spectrum disorders and show them firsthand what it is to be a friend. By volunteering with Include Autism, you can serve as a role model and mentor, and offer friendship for our program participants while gaining community service hours for a resume or college application. A Peer Pal can obtain valuable experience and education about Autism Spectrum Disorders and see first hand how capable and important these individuals are in our community.
