Small, busy office providing spiritual support to Christian prisoners. If you enjoy variety, light office work, writing encouraging notes, letters or cards, you will find this rewarding. If you enjoy computer work and have basic Xcel skills and Publisher and Word abilities, we would welcome you, as well.
Part time - usually with specific days and hours.
We are in need of mentors for new Christians - a letter a month sort of mentor.

Mission Statement
As a non-denominational Christian ministry our mission is to sustain, instruct and encourage people who want to make a change in themselves. Our goal is to empower prisoners to empower one another to walk in righteousness while they are in prison and when they get out of prison. Empowering prisoners to empower one another through discipling and holding one another accountable creates opportunities to think differently and make better choices.
Description
We have members in all California prisons and several county jails. We disciple through personal letters from mentors and with a monthly newsletter written by inmates. We continue the mentoring when they are released from prison here in the local area and occasionally in other counties where mentors are available
We provide a Dress-Out program (parole clothing) so gate money ($200 before bus fare home) can be retained.
Computer stations available for job search, resume building, computer training and volunteer work.
We expanded the hygiene ministry to provide basic necessities to indigent inmates inside the walls.
