We are looking for people who like to help people. We help visitors find their way around. Recommend our area's best restaurants.
We are Visit San Pedro. Our volunteers represent Visit San Pedro in the San Pedro, LA Harbor, and Peninsula communities, staff the San Pedro Visitor Center at 225 W. 6th Street, staff special events, and provide visitors with information along the San Pedro Waterfront.
We provide all the information you need in our training program and in our supplemental online training.
In this role you will meet interesting people from all over the world and help make their visits outstanding.
We present basic volunteer training usually on the second Saturday of each month beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting until 11:30 a.m. at the Visitor Center, 225 W. 6th Street, San Pedro. Please RSVP to volunteer@SPCVB.com or 310-729-9828.
There is no charge for the training.
Supplemental training and information for volunteers is available in an online format.

Description
Visit San Pedro-the region's Convention and Visitors Bureau-is the central organization promoting tourism and meetings in the Los Angeles Harbor and Palos Verdes Peninsula communities and Catalina Island. It serves visitor and event and meeting planner needs, markets the area worldwide, and provides a variety of information to visitors.
Its Visitor Center is a primary point of contact for visitors, as well as a place for newcomers and residents alike to find information about the area and its attractions and services. The Visitor Center also houses a small gallery that features a different exhibition every month highlighting the area through local artists.
