Job Title: Transportation
Objective: Help seniors and persons with disabilities maintain mobility! Drive clients to appointments and other destinations Monday through Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities: Safe driving using own vehicle as well as assisting clients with vehicle and destination entry and exit if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Reliable vehicle
- Valid driver’s license
- Safe driving record
- Background check
- Courteous
- Reliable
- Punctual
- General geographical knowledge of area, ability to navigate using maps, or GPS.
Supervisor: Program Manager
Time Commitment: Flexible
Volunteer Hours Recording: Log hours online
Training: Provided by Program Manager
Location: Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Coppell, Addison, and North Dallas area.

Metrocrest Services provides a wide range of emergency aid, financial assistance and services to support independent living for individuals, families and seniors.
We serve individuals living in:
- Carrollton
- Farmers Branch
- Addison
- Coppell
- the city of Dallas in Denton County
Our services include:
- Rent assistance
- Utility bill assistance
- Food Pantry
- Budgeting and Financial education
- Employment Counseling
- Senior Services (for ages 60 & over)
- Home delivered meals
- Eat Smart, Live Strong food distributions (for PAN food recipients)
- Transportation
- Minor home repairs
- Grab bar or wheelchair ramp installations
- Medical Aid
- Vial of Life kits
- Medical equipment loans (wheelchairs, canes, transfer benches, etc.)
- Information & referrals
- Case management
- Seasonal programs including distribution of school shoes & supplies, summer food for children, holiday food and gifts, holiday baskets for seniors
