It can be really boring & scary being a dog at a shelter. But with just a few minutes of play you can turn their day around. Once they are happier & more relaxed it`s much easier to get them adopted.
- Responsibilities: Brush, Cuddle, Train, Play, Make & Distribute enrichment, Reinforce good behavior, Clean up the animals area.
- Time Commitment: At least one day per week for 1 hour (Noon-5PM Tue-Fri, 10AM-4PM Sat)

The Franklin County Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation founded to provide temporary shelter and care for homeless and lost dogs and cats, to find permanent loving homes for these animals, to reduce pet overpopulation by promoting spaying and neutering, to prevent cruelty to animals, and to educate the community about animal welfare. We operate Animal Harbor, a no-kill shelter.
