Ride along with FUF staff and interns to prune and perform tree care across the city. This is a great way to learn pruning and tree care basics which are essential elements to a healthy urban forest. Bring your own water, and dress appropriately for the weather. We will provide the tools and expertise.
We’ll meet at the FUF offices in the Presidio or you can choose to meet us at our tree-care location.
DATE: EVERY FRIDAY (Please check fuf.net/events)
Time: 10.00am-1.00pm
Location: Changes every week. Volunteers can choose to ride out with us from FUF's office in the Presidio
Dress Code: Outdoor wear, layers for weather, shoes, and personal water bottle

Friends of the Urban Forest is committed to the belief that trees are a critical element of a livable urban environment. Founded in 1981, FUF offers financial, technical, and practical assistance to individuals and neighborhood groups who want to plant and take care for trees. FUF has planted over 35,000 trees on the streets of San Francisco-about 30% of the the city total street trees.
