As a volunteer run organization we are in need of everything - funding, donations, marketing, volunteers - you name it we probably need it! Most of our volunteer opportunities occur Monday through Friday from 9-5, with some additional opportunities on nights and weekends.
Career Center: Volunteers with strong professional backgrounds who can assist with interview preparation and job search tips, conduct mock interviews, assist with resume and cover letter editing, staff tables at fundraisers and job fairs, conduct workshops, and assist with agency presentations.
Boutique volunteers: Fashion savvy women who can assist in suiting our clients for both the interview and the employment suitings, and help in organizing the boutique area.
Inventory Maintenance: Accept and sort donations, steam and stock inventory, organize Donation Center and storage areas.
Administrative duties: Updating databases, receptionist duties and general office work.
Fundraising: Host a fundraiser or Third party event, provide set-up and logistics for various events, assist at our client clothing sales (4 times a year), participate in our "Power Walk for Dress for Success" or our fashion show luncheon "Recycle the Runway".
Special Services - Donate technical support, simple sewing, design and marketing lay-outs, Social media platforms, simple handy-person tasks.
