Our information and referral program needs your help! We typically receive many calls for assistance, ranging from referrals on where to go for medical assistance to needing food from our Food Pantry to even requesting emergency rent or utility assistance.
If you enjoy people and talking on the phone with a desire to assist those in need then this may be for you. Our volunteers find it very rewarding.
Spanish speaking a plus!
Training is thorough.
Shifts are for 3 hours one day a week is all that's required.
Volunteer either morning 9am - 12pm or afternoons 12pm - 3pm just one day a week. We do ask that due to the training, that you commit to a minimum of 6 months with us.
Must be 18 yrs or older.
2 Shifts
- morning / 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- afternoon / 12:00 PM to 03:00 PM

The Assistance Center of Collin County brings carefully qualified and prompt short-term assistance to individuals and families in financial crisis to help them regain self-sufficiency. Through discerning programs, guidance and funds, we help stabilize Collin County families’ home economies to fight homelessness, hunger and poverty.
Description
We proudly serve the Collin County community with rent and utility assistance, as well as information and referral services and programs. We've served hundreds upon hundreds of families within the Collin County area, and we'd love to have you help us assist hundreds more!
