STEP is a nonprofit dedicated to providing assistance to junior active duty military and recently discharged veterans' families in times of crisis.
Currently, we are seeking a virtual Web Designer/Developer who can donate up to 5 hours per week assisting us in effectively communicating our mission. The length of this opportunity is approximately 6 months.
Duties may include:
- Design graphic concepts and sample layouts for print collateral and internet websites
- Build/update, implement, and maintain website, microsites, landing pages as needed
- Manage day-to-day maintenance, content updates, and enhancements for the website
Desired skill set:
- Design and production tools (i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalents).
- Web Design, Programming, HTML5.
- Google Analytics Codes and applications.

Mission Statement
STEP assists junior active duty enlisted members and recently discharged enlisted veterans and their families in Southern California facing financial crisis achieve long term financial self-sufficiency through counseling, educations and grants to alleviate critical near term obligations.
Description
Volunteers are implemented in every part of the nonprofit, and is vital to reach our mission of supporting these military families. We need consistent help with sorting donated items, as well as administrative and holiday program support.
