Do you like to be in the middle of the action? Throughout the year, we host many events across our sites; exhibit opens, lectures, living history events, and more! Paratroopers drop in to assist during these events and help with a variety of tasks. This includes setup for the event, parking cars, assisting with refreshments or concessions, and helping out with other odd jobs that are required. Those odd jobs have included everything from decorating Christmas trees to helping guests prepare to ride in a hot air balloon!
Opportunities are available at the Mabee Farm Historic Site, located in Rotterdam Junction, and at the Schenectady County Historical Society, in the historic Stockade District of Schenectady.More opportunities with Mabee Farm Historic Site

Mabee Farm is part of the Schenectady County Historical Society, brings to life the region’s dynamic history through interactive exhibits, talks, workshops, concerts, programs and community events for all audiences at the Mabee Farm Historic Site, the Grems-Doolittle Library, the Schenectady History Museum, and the historic Brouwer House.
