WANTED: Secretary /BOARD MEMBER FOR FRIENDS OF THE PALO ALTO LIBRARY
The Friends of the Palo Alto Library are looking for a new Secretary who will join the board in January 2023. It is a one-year position that can be extended annually for up to a total of three years. The responsibilities include taking the minutes of the monthly board meeting and posting them to our website as well as our document repository. Some tech skills are required, including familiarity with Google Docs. Before the pandemic, FOPAL had gross annual revenues of over $350,000 and gave grants of over $125,000 per annum to the Palo Alto Library system.
