About

SOCKS needs licensed drivers to pick up and deliver kitties to and from the vet. We need you to commit to morning, afternoon, or both, one day a week. We'll let you know which days are available and you can pick what works for you. Often we take our kitties in groups of 3-4 to be neutered or spayed, so they are dropped off together in the morning and picked up together in the afternoon. You can take on either or both legs of the trip. Sometimes it's an unplanned vet visit for one kitty that pops up at the last minute, or an errand that needs to be run to pick up medicine. If you can help in any case, we want you! To handle the multiples, you'll need a vehicle large enough to accommodate them. Otherwise, any standard car will do. You will free the shelter staff from having to leave the facility and allow them to continue working.
