Work in a pre-school in the Kwabenya region of Accra with orphaned and underprivileged children. You'll be involved in a variety of activities, such as playtime, feeding, basic teaching.
You'll help the children to learn basic numerical and English skills, drawing, painting, music and also facilitating games. This is where you'll help to develop their audio-visual skills from a young age.
The children are from a mixture of social backgrounds, aged between 1 to 5 years. You'll assist with day-to-day care, teaching and social interaction as well as providing a safe environment for the children to be in. The community benefits enormously from your efforts!
Minimum Program duration is 1 week and up to 24 weeks, mimum age is 17 unless accompanied by an adult. No qualifications necessary.
Program price ranges from $800 for 1 week and includes:
- Accommodation
- Food (excluding lunch)
- Meeting you at Buenos Aires Airport
- Transfer to your accommodation
- Induction/Orientation
- Budget for transport to and from your project
- Full pre-departure support
- Local in-country team support and backup
- 24-hr emergency support.

Description
- We provide volunteering programs to people of all ages and nationalities in 20 countries in Asia, South and North America, Africa and Australasia.
- You can work with abused animals and threatened wildlife, care for disadvantaged children, teach English and other subjects in schools abroad, or gain experience on internships overseas.
- All our projects are risk-assessed and we have local staff in-country to look after you throughout your program
- All projects supported by us are chosen on the basis of being worthwhile which provide benefit to the project and to our volunteers.
