The Chamber Orchestra of New York is looking for a part-time intern to assist for rehearsals, concerts, and our conducting workshop. We will have performances at Carnegie Hall and other notable venues including the Morgan Library and Adelphi University Performing Arts Center. Tasks include: helping at rehearsals from set-up to break-down of music stands and chairs, passing out and collecting music parts, assisting at the info/CD sales table at our concerts, and assisting our orchestra manager. This season includes 6 programs and a conducting workshop. Rehearsals and concerts are usually in the evenings. The intern would be given a stipend for each rehearsal/concert day of assistance.
