Mwana wa Gwanga - Give Me Hope Soroti District Project 2014 - 2018 is a project designed for community empowerment and support as a principle target to acquire skills and enable vulnerable children acquire quality education . This project is aimed at creating a sustainable development within Helpless and Hopeless families and community at large by addressing the core problem of children, youth and identified community members in Amen zone Soroti district associated with high illiteracy rate in the community. The short term target is to enable at least 500 vulnerable children to acquire child education support and other identified beneficiaries to acquire sports skills, crafts and art skills through training of the house holds in the community so that they can earn a descent income to take care of their children and community sensitization will be the immediate objective.

Mwana wa GWanga was formed to offer support basically to young children who are vulnerable and destitute with education and skills in their talents spheres and resettlement to orphans and those vulnerable in need of care and protection from the time we get them to Maturity. We also intend to design suitable surrounding and be involved in the implementation of schools, homes and community care of the (orphaned) children...
Our specific objective is to identify these needy children in most vulnerable areas such as war areas and compile suitable and relevant teaching for different levels of training in sports and other skills of training and provide trained personnel to support with the upbringing of these children in order to purchase essential/potential ."...
