HELP! The Habitat for Humanity Store is looking for groups to help us do a once-over on the store and catch up on some lingering projects that help keep our store looking it’s best! Connect with other volunteers from the community, learn a little bit about Habitat for Humanity and the Store mission, and see all the exciting (and sometimes odd or unreal) donations that come to our store every day. Volunteers will help organize the sales floor, assist customers with their purchased items, help facilitate our donation intake, and help keep our aisles clear and safe. If you are the type of person who likes to keep busy, and see automatic results from their hard work, this is a great volunteer project for you! The better we serve our customers the more money we can raise for our local Habitat for Humanity Affiliate, and hard working families in our community. This past year with the help of many amazing donors, shoppers, and VOLUNTEERS we were able to raise enough money to fund 9 homes AND divert over 4,000 tons of useable material from the landfill! Volunteers must be 16 or over, and anyone under 18 needs a parent signature on our waiver in order to start volunteering. Court ordered community service must be approved before signing up.
