We are D.C.'s longest running tutoring and mentoring program. We need for volunteers to serve as one-on-one tutors/mentors to students, primarily in grades 7-12, from D.C. public and charter schools and develop a special relationship with one student while working on homework and academic skills, every Thursday evening from 6:45 - 8:15 during the school year. You can read more about us at www.communityclub.org.
We have orientations every Thursday when school is in session, beginning at 6:15 p.m. Please contact ptelfeyan@communityclub.org if you are interested in attending a session and becoming a tutor, or if you have any questions.
