Help keep our adoption center clean.

Save a Stray kitties are not in a shelter. Save a Stray is "foster" based. People just like YOU give them a temporary "foster" home. Kitties can be kept in a bathroom, laundry room or kennel in the corner of any room while they grow large enough to be neutered, recover from surgery, or wait to be adopted. Foster homes are crucial. We can't help a kitty unless it has a foster home, no matter how short term. It's good for them to spend time in a home with people and other animals, too.

When you foster a kitty, you foster for whatever amount of time works for you. Save a Stray arranges vet visits and covers vet bills. Fosters usually provide food, water, a litter box and litter but sometimes we have donations to share with fosters. Most fosters take the cats to vet visits when needed. Fostering is a great way to see what it's really like to have a cat before you actually adopt.

Be a hero to adoptable cats and kittens. Babysit, or catsit, a homeless cat or kitten for whatever amount of time works for you. When you do, you save a life. And, you help a homeless animal become a beloved member of someone's family.
