Volunteers are needed for our monthly Family Fun Night (FFN) at Fort Belvoir.
Where: Fort Belvoir Army Community Service-Soldier & Family Assistance Center, Fort Belvoir, VA
When: Quarterly (dates vary), 6:00-8:00pm
Our FFNs include crafts, kid-friendly activities and occasional special guests (comfort dogs, face painters, etc) and are designed to give service members and caregivers who are recuperating at a chance to spend fun, quality time with their children. Volunteers are needed to help plan the monthly activities as well as attend the events and help the children with the craft projects/activities.
We would prefer volunteers who can help out at least once every three months.

Cause organizes programs that promote recreation, relaxation and resilience for wounded, ill, and injured members of the U.S. Armed Services and those supporting their recovery.
Description
Cause programs are designed to bring a bit of relaxation and fun into what are, for many, very challenging circumstances. But they also serve a much more serious purpose: that of helping wounded warriors begin the normalization process and the re-entry to home and community as they take their long journey back to health.
