The Senior Companion Program connects conversational and social volunteers with seniors who would enjoy a friendly visitor once a week.
A friendly visit once a week can help a homebound or socially isolated senior alleviate the effects of loneliness and increase socialization.
Volunteers benefit by gaining a friend and having the satisfaction of knowing they are making a difference in a senior’s life.
