Your HomeAstoria, OR 97103

Imagine being diagnosed with cancer, but you don't have transportation to your treatment appointments. Every day, patients in our area miss potentially life-saving cancer treatment appointments because they can't afford transportation or are too ill to drive themselves.

The American Cancer Society Road to Recovery program provides free transportation to and from treatment for people who have cancer who do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves

Driver coordinators help schedule the rides. Coordinators can work whenever it’s convenient for them, during the evening, or weekends. All it takes is as little as four hours a week of your time, organization, and communication skills to make a major impact on the well-being of cancer patients in your community.
