We are a non profit community library open to the general public. San Juan Community Library depends on the generosity of our dedicated volunteer staff for our daily operations. Volunteer opportunities listed on VolunteerMatch are geared to individuals who would be interested in a regular spot in our weekly schedule.
Volunteers help to shelve books and to check for accurate shelving.
We are grateful for volunteers who are also willing to rake, to paint, and to sweep (we are surrounded by trees!).
If you have grant writing experience, we are also looking for proposal writers.
We want to to let everyone at VolunteerMatch.com know that we are grateful for your responses to our recruitment post.
Once you respond to our post, we will send an email to you inviting you to stop by the library and fill out a volunteer application form. We will then call you to arrange a meeting. We love meeting prospective volunteers!
