San Juan Community Library

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 220 people are interested

We are a non profit community library open to the general public. San Juan Community Library depends on the generosity of our dedicated volunteer staff for our daily operations. Volunteer opportunities listed on VolunteerMatch are geared to individuals who would be interested in a regular spot in our weekly schedule. However, we are happy to hear from individuals and groups who would like to consider helping while visiting our island. We will let you know if we have a project scheduled for which we could use additional volunteer help.

Volunteers help to shelve books and to check for accurate shelving. Volunteers also assist adults and children with research, both on-line and with the materials from our collection.

We are grateful for volunteers who are also willing to rake, to paint, and to sweep (we are surrounded by trees!).

If you have grant writing experience, we are also looking for proposal writers.

We want to to let everyone at VolunteerMatch.com know that we are grateful for your responses to our recruitment post.

Thank you, one and all, for your generous offers to help.
