VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: WEAVEWorks Donation Attendant/Clothing Sorter
Reports To: Thrift Store Supervisor
Hours: TBD. A minimum of one shift, one day per week from 2-4 hours.
Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the WEAVE Works Supervisor, the Donation Attendant accepts, sorts, organizes and prepares clothing for the sales floor. In this position, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Retail Operations - Incoming Donations- Sort clothing and wares and prepare items that are appropriate stock for the sales floor
- Ensure that outside and inside work areas are organized, clean and safe
- Process incoming donations, sort clothes and wares, price and take items to sales floor or place in appropriate recycling bins in accordance with WEAVEWorks store procedures

Description
We provide free and low cost fee based services to community members and those experiencing interpersonal violence, sexual violence or human trafficking.
We work to empower our clients to use their personal strengths and utilize resources as they heal from trauma and rebuild violence free lives.
Our services include free temporary shelter for domestic violence survivors, a sexual assault response team, legal advocacy, counseling, transitional housing and a 24/7 Support Line.
*All of our services are inclusive and non discriminatory. We serve women, men, teens and children. We also serve the many diverse communities within Sacramento and strive to be culturally competent.
We are also dedicated to breaking the cycle of violence by working with teens and adults through our prevention efforts.
