Job Description: Practice Development & Strategy Expert
PD Job Purpose: Leads function/Practice and reports to director
Responsibilities: 1) Lead and manage the division and projects within the division 2) Mentor and provide leadership for team members 3) Assign or advise Director to assign projects to volunteers based on competency and interests of volunteers 4) Program manage client projects 5) Manage Competency Manager and consultants and communicate with them consistently on their progress, challenges, commitment issues 6) Based on CS roles and functions, suggest and support Team Lead in new project planning 7) Update Director/Team Lead on progress, issues or challenges 8) Suggest to Team Lead/Director areas of improvements and support the continuous efforts in process improvements 9) Report to Team Lead/Director/Board Team Chair
Qualifications &
Requirements : * BA / MBA * Prior leadership background * Good listener and communicator * Team Board Chair Approval * 5 + years of prior project management experience * Very committed to the team and the projects he/she manages * Able to work well with the team, accept and resolve differences, promote positive team spirit * Step in to support team lead or manage projects when occasions arise * Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
Commitment
Required : * Must be willing to commit 1+ year * Meetings: 2 in person and 2 conference calls * Time: Minimum 5 hours [ excluding meeting time ]
