If you like to shop then this volunteer opportunity is for you. Help our staff and volunteers take senior residents shopping at Meijers. Help is needed to push wheelchairs and help direct residents who can not see to find their purchases. The opportunity starts by getting residents loaded on a small bus and then making our way to Meijers and there is about 1 hour to shop and then we load eveyone up and head home. Shopping and transportation take about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. We are currently going on Tuesdays.

Description
Most of our volunteers work with seniors and make a difference in the lives of the elderly. Many are lonely and look forward to seeing the smiling face of a volunteer. Volunteers help us to enhance the lives of our residents. As well as many of our volunteers have found that our residents do the same for them.
