US Military Veterans are dying everyday. During those last days and weeks Veterans often relive their experiences, both good and bad. We need men and women age 18 or older to train as hospice volunteers to work within our We Honor Veterans program, especially if you have any military experience at all. Our veterans are requesting fellow veterans as their volunteers during end-of-life hospice care. Just your time spent with another Vet is invaluable. You do not need to have served in the armed forces during wartime--any military experience is welcome! Won't you step up one more time to help provide emotional support to your fellow Veterans as they make that final journey? Call Mountain Valley Hospice today at 336-789-2922 or toll free at 1-888-789-2922.

Since 1983, we have been providing the highest level of compassionate, quality hospice and palliative care for those who are facing a serious illness. We allow you to spend more quality time with those you love and do the things that are most important to you.

Our health care team consists of Physicians, Nurses, Nursing assistants, Chaplains, Counselors, and Volunteers. We invite you to learn more about us and our scope of services that include: Support groups, Kids’ Path services for children, Special programs for Veterans, Alzheimer’s support, and Grief Support.
