Ohio Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) volunteers provide information or give presentations in their own communities. Ohio SMP provides full training. FREE Training is available online or in-person.

What a difference you can make by sharing strategic tips for seniors to recognize scams - helping to prevent Identity Theft, healthcare fraud and other crimes that target older adults.

For example, calls about "prizes" and "free" offers are often a sneaky way to get your confidential information. These calls often target older adults.

Learn more about fraud and scams at our annual Consumer Protection Forum on March 30, 2017 - details and registration at:

Oxford needs Ohio SMP volunteers! Please join us in this important mission - Empowering seniors to prevent fraud and scams!
