We are growing and we need your help with light office work! Duties include, but are not limited to, answering phones, listening to voice mail, sending emails, preparing mailings, stuffing envelopes, writing thank you notes and other light office duties. Must have good writing and communication skills as well as be comfortable using computers. We are especially looking for anyone with book keeping skills.

Description
Emmy's Academy's mission is to provide affordable, developmentally appropriate care for children with special needs and support for their families. We serve children with special needs from birth through 6 years of age in the Atlanta area. The inspiration for Emmy's Academy is Emily "Emmy" Corrigan who was born in April 2009 with Down syndrome. Emmy became sick in 2009 with Parvovirus (Fifth Disease) but after a courageous fight, Emmy ultimately lost her battle and passed away on December 11, 2009 at the age of two. After Emmy's passing, her mother Mrs. Amy Corrigan found there is a tremendous need in the Atlanta community for affordable, early intervention childcare for children with special needs. Early intervention childcare is extremely challenging to find in the Atlanta metro and if a family can find this level of care for their child, the costs can be astronomical as in thousands of dollars per week. In an attempt to honor Emmy’s life, Emmy's Academy was incorporated in May 2010 to fill that void. Under Amy Corrigan’s leadership, our community efforts are led by a committed board of directors and advisory board, and a dedicated group of community volunteers.
