United Hebrew of New Rochelle--a five-start nursing home and rehabilitation facility in the Westchester, NY is looking for weekend volunteers. Our fun recreation department is especially interested in mature and responsible volunteers who would like to help with transporting/escorting residents to and from different units for facility-wide events/activities, conducting games, visits, or other activities, and simply enhancing the residents’ lives and safety through interacting and assisting our recreation staff. The most crucial hours when volunteers are needed are 1PM to 4PM on weekends, but we are open to other options as morning hours are also important!

Please note that while we really need volunteers on weekends, we also need volunteers throughout the week-- especially when conducting visits and collecting resident stories.

We look forward to hearing from you!
