VITAS is searching for caring individuals to be Feeding Assistant Volunteers, helping hospice patients during meal times in nursing homes and assisted living communities.
Tasks can include accompanying residents to and from the dining room, preparing residents for a meal, serving the meal, providing encouragement and conversation, cutting food so residents can feed themselves, assisting with beverages, in some cases, feeding residents, recording food and beverage intake.More opportunities with VITAS Healthcare of NJN

Volunteers are the heart of VITAS, providing friendly, non-medical patient and family care and offering support services in the office, using their cars and from their own homes.
