During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
We are currently recruiting volunteer coaches for our upcoming season. The season typically lasts from the beginning of February to the end of July.
This program serves primarily the East Orlando area youth ages 8 and up. We pride ourselves on teaching proper running technique, breathing and overall fitness. Our athletes compete in running events from the 50 meters to the 3000 meters. If we are able to find coaches with experience with field events such as the shot put, long and/or triple jump we may have athletes competing in those event as well.
In order to be considered, we ask that you possess some knowledge of track and field and be willing to commit to at least 3 days a week of coaching our athletes. We will conduct a criminal background check as it is required for insurance purposes.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Our mission is to encourage and help the area youth to develop Spirit, Mind, and Body through involvement in track & field. All participants will be part of a team that encourages and promotes hard work and sportsmanship. All participants will build a positive self-image as they set goals and train/work to achieve them.
The East Orlando Track Club is a drug-free non-profit organization in the state of Florida. The club is a member of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and USA Track and Field (USATF). Our track club primarily serves the East Orlando area but also supports others throughout Central Florida. The program was established by its founders when a search for a viable local track program yielded no results. We have a certified coaching staff of former collegiate track and field athletes and others who volunteer countless hours to provide a positive and constructive environment for our athletes.
The organization teaches fair play and the value of hard work through structured practices and further enriches the experience with sanctioned competitions. The track club also allows our athletes the opportunity to compete on a state, regional, and national level. Our purpose is to provide a rigorous program of character development through participation in the sport of track and field. We ultimately seek to develop a sense of pride, self-respect, and personal work ethic to strive for excellence in all walks of life. Our goal is to provide an environment where each athlete can realize his/her full athletic potential while also developing a strong sense of commitment and appreciation. These ideals will become self-evident to our athletes as we focus on the areas of personal responsibility, family unity, team cohesiveness, and community awareness.
We'll work with your schedule.
