Would you like to help outpatients and family members find their way around BID - Milton Hospital? Then we have an opportunity for you! Join our dedicated team of volunteers.

Highland Ambassadors greet patients and visitors as they enter the hospital. They escort people around the facility, ensure wheelchairs are available, and assist our staff door screeners to ensure timely service. Volunteers help reduce patient anxiety by supporting patients returning for their necessary medical care and treatment.

Weekday shifts run from 6 a.m. -11:30 p.m.; 11:30 - 4:00 p.m.

We provide $6 off your meal for each shift you volunteer, documentation of service hours, an annual volunteer appreciation luncheon and a caring community.

Note: BID Milton Hospital requires and enforces correct mask wearing, provides masks (and face shields in clinical settings) to volunteers, requires daily symptom attestation and staying home if ill, and provides free COVID 19 tests to volunteers when warranted.
